Service and eligibility
AI Tiny Desk (ai-tinydesk.com) is an independent creative tool operated by Mingzhu Wang. You must be at least 18 to hold an account. Person-animation templates accept consenting adults only. Template-specific permissions apply to costume photo editing. We are not affiliated with NPR, Tiny Desk Concerts, artists or people associated with a trend.
Your account and uploads
Use an email account you control. You must have permission to upload and transform every depicted person and rights to the input material. You grant us the limited permission necessary to process your uploads and deliver your requested result. You retain your rights in your inputs. Do not share private download links or access another account.
Credits and payment
Credits are sold as one-time packs in USD. The price, number of credits and any applicable taxes appear before payment. There is no recurring subscription. Standard generation uses 1 credit and higher-resolution generation uses 2 credits where available. The selected template shows its cost before submission. Credits do not expire while the service operates and cannot be transferred between websites or redeemed for cash except under our refund policy or applicable law.
Delivery and AI limitations
A verified payment adds credits to your account. A checkout redirect alone does not establish payment. AI processing may take several minutes and can be delayed. Completed files appear in your private account. AI may introduce visual errors; similarity, exact motion and social-platform performance are not guaranteed. See the refund policy for technical failures and serious defects.
Output and music rights
Review your result before sharing. Identify synthetic content and do not present it as genuine footage or an endorsement. Purchasing credits does not grant rights to third-party songs, brands or likenesses. Tiny Desk downloads include a licensed vocal soundtrack and a silent copy. The song is I Love To Swing by Sascha Ende (ende.app), licensed under CC BY 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/), edited and synchronized with the video. Retain the music credit when sharing that version. Outstanding and other commercial recordings are not included. Add only music you are allowed to use.
Restrictions, changes and closure
Our Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms. We may restrict prohibited activity and review related payment issues separately. Changes apply prospectively and will show an updated date. If the service closes, we will explain how unused purchased credits will be handled. These terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights.

Violence and graphic content
Do not upload, create or distribute graphic violence, gore, depictions of severe injury or torture, threats of physical harm, or content that encourages or glorifies violence or terrorism.
Hate speech and hateful conduct
Do not create or distribute hate speech, dehumanizing attacks, or content inciting discrimination, hostility or violence against people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or another protected characteristic.
Copyright and trademark infringement
Do not upload, generate or distribute content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other intellectual-property rights. Use only photos, artwork, logos, video and audio that you own or are authorized to use. Do not falsely imply sponsorship or endorsement. Rights holders can report an alleged infringement by email with the affected task or URL, identification of the protected work or mark, their relationship to the rights holder and a way to contact them.
Adult consent and sexual content
Person-animation presets require an adult aged 18 or older whose permission you have to animate the photo. If a photo-edit preset explicitly supports childhood photos, you must be an adult using your own childhood photo, a photo of your child that you are authorized to edit, or an authorized fictional sample. Follow the age and permission requirements shown for the selected preset. Do not upload or generate nudity, pornography or other sexual content, even where the person consents. Do not disclose private information or use another person’s likeness to harass them.
Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII)
You must not upload, create, synthesize, alter, share or distribute intimate or sexual images or videos of another person without their explicit consent. This includes AI-generated or manipulated intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes and attempts to sexualize a person without consent. Permission to use an ordinary photo is not consent to create intimate imagery. This prohibition applies separately from the ban on deception and impersonation; all sexual content is also prohibited by this Acceptable Use Policy.
Deception, impersonation and deceptive deepfakes
Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent identity or consent, or use AI-generated content to deceive, defraud, harass or falsely imply an endorsement. Do not present a synthetic video as authentic footage of something the depicted person did. Obtain permission to use the photo and identify AI-generated content when sharing it. Non-consensual intimate imagery is independently prohibited above.
Child safety: zero tolerance for sexual exploitation
We have zero tolerance for child sexual exploitation and abuse, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Uploading, creating, requesting, synthesizing, sharing or distributing sexual content involving a person under 18 is prohibited, including AI-generated, manipulated or fictional depictions. When a violation is identified, we remove the prohibited content from the service and terminate the responsible account’s access. We report to relevant law enforcement or child-protection authorities when required by applicable law or necessary to protect a child, and handle any legally required preservation securely. Report concerns to support@ai-tinydesk.com or use Help with a task ID or URL; do not attach, download or redistribute suspected abuse material. Reports are reviewed by the operator; these rules do not imply that every upload is manually pre-screened.
Reports and appeals
Email support@ai-tinydesk.com without signing in. Include the relevant URL or task reference, the concern and a safe contact address. Do not attach harmful material or send passwords or payment-card details. Account holders can also use Help. An on-screen form receipt confirms submission, not a human decision.
Response and resolution times
We acknowledge content reports within 48 hours of receipt. We prioritize credible urgent safety reports for review within 24 hours of receipt. Within 7 calendar days of receipt, we send a decision or a progress update explaining what remains to be checked. We provide another update at least every 7 calendar days until closure. Appeals follow the same periods.
Review and enforcement
Once a violation is confirmed, we disable access to affected content within 24 hours of the decision. We may act sooner on a credible urgent report. We may restrict or terminate the responsible account’s access. Restrictions do not automatically forfeit purchased credits; payment and refund issues are reviewed separately. Reports are reviewed by the operator. We do not claim universal pre-screening or perfect automated detection.
